New Years on the Beach

Plus a fantastic opportunity of winning 50 %of the value of the tour price paid to A.M.T. This special tour is only for those that love it differently: 6 days, 5 nights in the desert and on the beach We at AFRICA MOTION TOURS don’t only organize tours in Namibia, but also have a lot of fun while enjoying the different tastes of life. Therefore we planned something different this year-end.

The itinerary is as follows:

On the 29 December 2009 we will pick you up at Hosea Kutako Windhoek International airport for an exceptional vacation. From here on we leave for Windhoek to A.M.T Workshop to test the motorbikes and cars for an extraordinary holiday. Today we sleep over near Windhoek on a campsite, tenting and food served around the fire.

30 December

We are heading towards Swakopmund, via the 5 Million Hectar Namib Naukluft Park, camping at the famous Blutkuppe, where we will see many different wild animals. (Special permission granted) The semi desert begins here, that is the reason for the most fantastic stars TV Channels ever seen.

31 December

We set up camp on the beach, in such a way that others will only envy us, after 130 km of desert driving (gravel road). The Atlantic Ocean on our doorstep, invites us to hear, feel, taste, smell and listen as well as seeing Namibia, where most people like to be that time of the year and yet we will not be crowded. Today the party kicks of with gusto, beer tent with live bands on the beach, far enough from where we camp. Sure we will see the sunset on the 31 and sunrise

1 January

This sounds like fun, hey! For those people that know me will only smile by now.After some time of relaxing we take our toys and enjoy a little bit soft off road by cars and bikes since I know some interesting stages. Then we will enjoy another sunset as well as a sundowner on the 250 m high sandy dunes with breathtaking view on the blue ocean and our campsite. Last night on the beach.

2nd January

We are leaving to Spitzkoppe, the most interesting granite rock formation of Southern Africa. A marvelous section of soft enduro, via the Khan riverbed, a fantastic drive for everybody , a stretch of 40 km tarred road is included . Something very special on this entire trip is still outstanding!!! We will enjoy a catapult-shootout competition and the winner will be refunded half of the price paid for the tour! Please keep in mind that the flight costs are not included in the refund. Camping for the last night in the desert, a campfire, good food and a well-deserved rest on this part of the planet will soon recall our memories.

3 January

We are heading back to Windhoek, partly tarred, partly gravel road, to drop of our toys so that we can take you to the airport in time.

The route consists of 60 % gravel road, 38 % soft enduro with small sections of thick sand. The journey covers a total of +- 950 km and anybody that has a more than 50 hours experience on a bike will enjoy this tour. Bring your wife or girlfriend and come and feel welcome with us, we are sure you will want to come back same year.
